Welcome To Dholeradham

For thousands of years, skyscraper temples are established. The only reason to build the templates of the ancient sages was “To protect the Indian cultural heritage”. Through the temple only, our cultural heritage is protected even after facing so many external crises. The virtues of unity among mankind are automatically synthesized through these temples. The agitation of mind and the anguish of internal mentality. Lord Swaminarayan also built Mandirs for the sake of Pure Devotion and firm religious belief among the Saints and Devotees, towards the lord and to continue this tradition in the future.

Lord Swaminarayan built temples during that time when the construction of temples was scary. He built skyscraper temples in the following places Ahmedabad, Bhuj, Vadtal, Dholera, Junagadh, and Gadhpur in only 8 years! Apart from these, He also started construction in Muli, Dholaka, Jetalpur, Buranpur, Idar, and many other places. The Murti Pratishtha of the deities were consecrated after Lord Swaminarayan returned to Akshardham.

Lord Swaminarayan assigned the construction of these temples to HDH Brahmanand Swami and HDH Nishkulanand Swami. The temples, built with the excellent skills of both saints, are still unique in Sculpting, Sthapatya, and Highness. The arts of creating beautiful carvings and pillars, and intricately carved beautiful domes are extraordinary.

To show the glory of establishing temples, Lord Swaminarayan carried sandstones himself and helped to construct temples! Even the one, who had contributed unknowingly, got salvation. Even after he returned to his divine abode, Akshardharm, so many temples have been built. In small villages, Harimandirs have been built.

Punjabha Darbar of Dholera urged Lord Swaminarayan to construct a temple in Dholera. Nishkulanand Swami and Adbhutanand Swami constructed the temple. Lord Swaminarayan did pranpratistha of Shree Madan Mohan Dev and Radhikaji in VS 1882 on the 13th day of the dark half of the month of Vaishakh (Saturday 19th May 1826 AD).
